LOTTOLAND'S CONTINUING SUPPORT OF WATERPOLO IN MALTA

Lottoland Malta has announced the renewal of its partnerships with Sliema ASC, San Ġiljan ASC and Neptunes WPSC, reaffirming its long-term commitment to supporting Maltese sport, local communities and the people who dedicate themselves to them.

Waterpolo has long been considered one of Malta's national sports, producing generations of talented athletes and passionate supporters while playing an important role in the identity of many localities across the islands.

By continuing its support of three of the country's most successful and historic clubs, Lottoland aims to contribute towards the continued development of the sport at both senior and grassroots levels. The sponsorships were first announced in 2025 and form part of a wider, long-term investment in Maltese sport and community initiatives.

LOTTOLAND'S COMMITMENT TO THE MALTESE COMMUNITY

"Giving back to the communities in which we operate is a responsibility we take seriously," said Ira Losco, Lottoland's Ambassador for Malta. "Waterpolo is woven into Malta's identity, and we're proud to continue standing alongside these clubs as they inspire future generations."

The renewal forms part of Lottoland Malta's broader commitment to making a meaningful and lasting contribution to the country beyond its core business.

Over the past few years, the company has steadily expanded its community partnerships, focusing on initiatives that create genuine social impact. These include its ongoing collaboration with the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation through the Win-Win Charity Scratchcard, where a portion of every ticket sold contributes directly to charitable causes.

LOTTOLAND AND WILDLIFE RESCUE TEAM MALTA

Lottoland Malta also continues to support the Wildlife Rescue Team Malta, now for more than five years, helping fund wildlife rehabilitation and conservation efforts that protect Malta's unique natural environment. From sea turtle rescues to the rehabilitation of injured wildlife, the partnership reflects the company's belief that giving back should extend to both people and the environment.

Representatives from Sliema ASC, San Ġiljan ASC and Neptunes WPSC welcomed the continuation of the partnership, noting that sustained private sector support plays an important role in helping clubs invest in coaching, facilities, athlete development and the continued growth of the sport.

As Lottoland Malta continues to strengthen its roots within the local community, the company remains committed to supporting initiatives that leave a lasting legacy, whether through sport, charitable partnerships or environmental conservation.
